After years of shooting with Canon APS-C cameras, a good friend loaned me his Canon 5D Mark III with the 24-105mm L series lens. The difference in quality between the 70D and the 5D Mark III was remarkable. All I can say is going full frame is worth the money if you are serious about digital photography.
I spent the next 2 months reading specs on the cameras and pricing them out. I looked at photos from true professional photographers, reviews, DXO Mark, etc. In the end it came down to the Canon 5D Mark IV vs the Sony A7R Mark II. In February I moved forward with the Sony. Thanks to Trey Ratcliff @ www.stuckincustoms.com for the excellent sample work and reviews on this camera.
